Goddess Workshop

Jai Ma Kali!

The night before I sat at the alter thinking I will figure out how I am going to go about the workshop. May be give it a form and a structure. The only message I kept getting was, "Just go sit before the group and I will send across what ever you need to say and do." I believe that and yet a part of me was trying to go over what I did when I shared these in Goa. A thought would start and would flow into a completely different story, almost immediately. Not once but about 5 times I tried. On the sixth attempt I fell asleep. It felt like a test in faith. 

Now I am standing in front of the cozy group of three and we are about to begin. I am blank! For a moment I closed my eyes and just stood there. I don't know what I said to them but they seemed to lean into the energy almost immediately. The flowing was instant. I did not have a moment after that. From discussing what we are going to do, we progressed very easily into the Belly Dancing. It was fun teaching then a few really simple steps and then letting them lead their bodies freely into the music. The intense work started once we went exploring for our feminine center. We danced slowly noticing every movement of our body and it brought up so much stuff. 

One of us was crying, one of us just went silent and another kept up the resistance. But all of us came face to face with what was REALLY happening in that moment for us. The joint energy in that room was electrifying. When we stopped, we started painting. We painted all that we wanted to. The anger, fear, abuse, fun, love, grounding, letting go...Everything! This is what we looked like on paper.

After the release we had to burn up all that we had allowed to surface... so we did. And finally also sent up in prayer a little something we wanted to bring up in that space we just freed up. At the end of the day... we were 4 happy Goddesses guided by the Mother herself. Everything that that to place in that room that day was a blessing.
