Today's energy is THE SELF!

Today is a very special day! Not only because it is VALENTINE'S but also coz its a FULL MOON and a FRIDAY! We all know how much the moon is a part of Love and Romance. Poems have been written to its glory and scenes have been created in so many films. The Witches of course live by the Moon. So what's the story of Friday being so special too? Friday is the day of love!! {No wonder they say TGIF!} It is associated with the Shukra, the planet VENUS, in Indian Astrology. Even in western understanding it holds teh same. And as we know... VENUS is the planet of love and beauty! The Greek Goddess APHRODITE is associated with this energy as well. and she is the Goddess of love and beauty and song and dancing among other things. She tells you to chill and celebrate yourself. YOURSELF... before another! So on this triply special day... 

WHATS THE PLAN??

For me... I am just going to spend all day pampering myself with a massage and a new teaching opportunity and a small photo shoot of ME and finally a lovely Full Moon Love ritual in the night! I know I am breaking a few hearts because I am not spending time with them, but it is a day I want to spend time truly being the LOVER I deserve. I want to show me what i mean to me and how valuable am to me. I know everyone is going to say "Oh there is not one in her life!" Am going to be really honest... I have 4 people in my life right now and the most beautiful part is that they are all secure enough to know that I want to spend time with myself. Not only are they super supportive, they are also very encouraging. They insist they have learnt a bit from my mad habits. Could it be better then that? 

My question... is even though is beautiful to spend time with another, Have you spent enough time with yourself? I do spend a lot of special days with the ones I love. This day is for ME! Can you do this for yourself? Can you gift yourself a day where no one else matters but YOU? Think about it!

THOUGHT TO REMEMBER:

I can spend as much time as I want with others. Spending time with me need not be so difficult either.
